Wireless LAN Turbo Mode 108 Mbps products
TORNADO introduces a new supplement to
its product range: the TORNADO 802.11g Wireless LAN products. With this new supplement
TORNADO fulfils the great demand of broadband users that are interested in implementing
wireless networking in their SOHO environment.

new product range of TORNADO includes the following Wireless LAN products:
- The TORNADO 242 integrates a Wireless
802.11g Access Point, a Broadband Router (cable or ADSL), a 4-port Ethernet switch, a
firewall and a Parallel Print Server into one single package.
- The TORNADO 211G is a wireless network PC Card that connects your notebook to an 802.11g
network.
- The TORNADO 212G is a wireless network PCI Card that connects your desktop-PC to an
802.11g network.
- The TORNADO 840 integrates a Wireless 802.11g Access Point, an ADSL Annex A Router, a
4-port Ethernet switch, a firewall and a USB Print Server into one single package.
- The TORNADO 840 integrates a Wireless 802.11g Access Point, an ADSL Annex B / U-R2
Router, a 4-port Ethernet switch, a firewall and a USB Print Server into one single
package.
The TORNADO Wireless LAN products support
IEEE 802.11g (up to 54 Mbps data rate), IEEE 802.11b (max. 11 Mbps) and 802.11g+. With the
proprietary Turbo mode, the TORNADO Wireless LAN products can speed up to 108 Mbps,
ensuring high-speed velocity for wireless LAN connection.
