Cool Conversations (Cool C), today announced the release of Cool C Interactive Speech
software. This unique software will convert most any computer into a talking computer.
Computers that you can talk to have always had a place in science fiction – now, Cool
C is making them a reality. The program, utilizing the Microsoft Speech Engine, makes it
possible for any Windows-based PC to verbally respond to spoken questions/comments from
users. Cool C Talking Computers can function as speaking virtual tutors or talking
encyclopedias, or as a computerized assistant giving you important reminders.

The Cool C program comes with a database
of information that will provide answers to questions you “ask” your computer.

- 128 MB RAM is recommended
- 110 MB free disk space
- The Windows XP, ME, 2000, 98, or NT operating system
- Microsoft Speech Engine*
- Speakers and Microphone
* The Microsoft Speech engine is included
in Windows XP. Users of prior Windows versions (98, 2000, NT) will need to download the
free Microsoft Speech Engine from Microsoft (a link appears on the Cool C website). The
Microsoft Speech engine and Microsoft training program are included on the CD version of
Cool C software.
