Cool C Introduces Talking
Computers
Cool Conversations (Cool C), today announced the release of Cool C Interactive Speech
software. This unique software will convert most any computer into a talking computer.
Computers that you can talk to have always had a place in science fiction now, Cool
C is making them a reality. The program, utilizing the Microsoft Speech Engine, makes it
possible for any Windows-based PC to verbally respond to spoken questions/comments from
users. Cool C Talking Computers can function as speaking virtual tutors or talking
encyclopedias, or as a computerized assistant giving you important reminders.
Plantation, FL (PRWEB) January 26
2004--Imagine having your PC tell you that the school bus will be dropping off your kids
shortly, its time to take your medicine, you have a meeting in ten minutes, or call your
mom. The software enables users to program daily, weekly, monthly or yearly reminders or
one time only reminders. You can instruct Cool C to fill your day with compliments to keep
you in a positive mood.
The Cool C program comes with a database
of information that will provide answers to questions you ask your computer.
Your computer can talk about many subjects, tell you jokes and will always respond to
questions. The database is constantly being enhanced to include new categories and
functions. Any novice PC user can easily customize information by typing in a keyword and
a desired response.
Cool C provides a great way to give
your PC a personality, said John Brodie, director of product development for Cool C.
The program launches a new era in human interaction with computers and is great fun
to use. The program can be a valuable tool as a tutor at home or in schools to provide an
engaging, interactive method of learning. Cool C users will also be able to have
news and other information broadcast to them and delivered verbally by their computer.
Cool C will give many users the
opportunity to utilize speech recognition for the first time. The program does not require
100% accuracy recognizing speech to give a relevant response. Multiple users can use the
same Cool C installed program.
